Karmøy Apostolic Church was officially established April 22 2001. Pastor Sveinung Espeland Ramstad is the founder and senior pastor of the church. He has been involved in youth ministry for ten years, four years as youth pastor in Haugesund. The summer of 1999 the Lord spoke to him to step into new areas of ministry. During theological studies at Assemblies of God in Phoenix, USA the same year, God instructed him to pioneer and build an apostolic church in Karmøy.

Pastor Ramstad has a living vision to see Karmøy transformed and people saved by Gods grace. His preaching emphasize on revelation in Scripture and a strong passion to see people experience the freedom in Christ. He is also eager to see people grow in knowledge of Jesus in order to become an active disciple. His ministry is acknowledged by the power of The Holy Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles.

For many years our pastor has been preaching in churches throughout the world with a life changing message from the Lord. His experience is that God miraculously opens closed doors into different denominations. Where the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be preached without compromise he has seen people transformed as their lives are touched by the power of God.

Lately his preaching also includes apostolic church building, pioneer work and visionary leadership. He also has a strong passion to see a genuine unity among the children of God and believes that this will be a key factor in the latter day revival.
